Veterinary Nurse
I began my journey at City Road Vets in 1997 as a student veterinary nurse. After relocating to Wales to raise a family, I spent many years working in the charity, community, and education sectors of veterinary care. Six years ago, I returned to Cornwall and I am delighted to be back at City Road Vets, now as a valued member of the team. Alongside my role at the practice, I also help run my small family hotel.
A LITTLE MORE ABOUT JAYNE
I am passionate about supporting both pets and their owners, and I love getting to know the wonderful clients and animals that come through the doors. I am also an active volunteer with STREETVET, a charity that delivers free veterinary care to the pets of people experiencing homelessness, promoting and protecting the human-animal bond.
At home, I am a proud pet parent to two dogs, Dollie and Ted, and a high-maintenance Persian cat named Esme. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym, running, going to the cinema, and practicing mindfulness.
